Jehanne Roche’s main area of expertise is the US healthcare market, in the fields of healthcare data protection, cybersecurity and relations with healthcare professionals.

She can advise you on :

  • Implementing projects in the United States and/or involving American healthcare professionals (anti-gifting laws, Sunshine Act reporting)
  • Compliance with US regulations involving healthcare data (HIPAA audits and training, Risk Assessment, review and drafting of cybersecurity procedures)
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts such as NDAs, BAAs, Physicians Agreements, Clinical Research Agreements, informed consent forms.

    She works in French and English.

2014

Jehanne Roche obtained her Master II in Business Law – Corporate Social Responsibility (Lyon II University) in partnership with the University of Sherbrooke, Canada, and holds a Master I in Business Law (Lyon II University) which she completed at the University of Montreal, Canada, as part of an academic exchange. Her final internship was with a New York law firm.

2016-2019

In 2016, she obtained her LL.M. in Corporate Compliance specializing in healthcare law from Fordham University in New York. 

Jehanne joined a French medical device company based in New York to set up a Compliance program, notably for compliance with the Sunshine Act’s anti-gifting and reporting laws, and then worked as a compliance consultant for various clients, cosmetics, pharmaceutical and medical device companies concerning FDA regulatory compliance, product qualification, marketing and during the product lifecycle.

In 2019, he will be admitted to the New York Bar.

2019-2022

Jehanne joined the New York Fire Department’s (FDNY) cybersecurity team for two years to respond to a government investigation following a data breach and to develop the security program (HIPAA), where she developed technical skills in cybersecurity and data protection security. She then worked in a law firm where she advised telemedicine clients, healthcare professionals and hospitals on contracts, professional licenses and FDA compliance.

In 2022, she joined Life Avocats as an external consultant, working in French and English on issues relating to the US market.
